Hello Happy Sunday! I wanted to do nothing today to recharge, but ended up hanging out with my manz and doing some house things. Holo got a bath at the dog groomer today, so she smells really nice and clean now

Recently, my dad converted my room at my parents’ house to his TV zone so he packed up all my plushies to rearrange my furniture a bit. Since they were all packed up already, I decided to just bring them to my manz place to give them a new home.

I haven’t really set up my room, but I’ve been feeling better when I see more girly things at the place, so I arranged this hanger rack to display a few things that make me feel happy. It matters so much to me to have a thoughtfully curated space, so after a lot of think talking with my manz - he really wants me to feel more comfortable at his place - I’ve been trying really hard to take up more space there.

The two empty spots by the TV got their share of plushies too! I’ll likely redo this once I can figure out how to fill the empty spots a bit more, but I’m happy with it for now since everyone found a spot

I was worried the plushies don’t match the house look at all and… well, they really don’t (LOL) but my manz wanted me to put plushies around the place regardless of girliness, so I hope he won’t mind it! I think I might add some small lights somewhere as well to add more cosiness, but I don’t want to impact the TV usage, so we’ll see

It is a little weird to see so many old plushies with memories… but I hope they’ll enjoy their new place Now that the place has a lot more personal touches, my manz exclaimed that the space finally looks lived in

The funny thing about this top is that I originally had it, didn’t like how it looked on me, and gave it to my cousin… only to realise I kept thinking about it so much that I snagged another one when it popped up

The details on this top are super cute, but my favourite thing about it is how lightweight and soft the material is! The only issue I have is that I don’t like the way they usually style these sleeves, and at full length, the charms on them always catch on my knits and lace…

We got a treat today: coffee streusel cake! It was a perfectly small portion to share since neither of us wanted to commit to eating anything too filling, but it was just a good bite size It was really delicious and definitely a good pick-me-up for such a chilly and gloomish day! We had it with Sloane Heavenly Creme tea

Hello

It has been a bit of a quiet week though there’s been a lot to do As usual, I’m trying to catch up with too many things and struggling a lot to focus, but I thought I would at least sit down and do something for myself that feels nice (post on blog!)

So, I don’t have anything super amazing to share, but it makes me think of Hobonichi’s slogan: “Happy Nothing Special Day!” Even on ordinary days or ones that buzz on by, there’s still something about your days that makes them special somehow

The week before, I attended a work lunch and decided to wear this cute ribbon cape-like top from GRL There were a few brands that did a similar look in the last seasons, but I’m really glad I got this one! The fabric is very comfortable and soft but not too thin (sometimes rib knits are a bit too thin and show lumps easily)

As for this skirt, I’ve worn it quite a lot before. I love this style a lot since it’s subtle and has a little design, so it doesn’t look too dark to pair in my outfits

Recently, I’ve been slowly playing the new Nikki update

It’s been really lovely playing such a casual and cozy game - it really captures that feeling Even though it overloads my computer quite a bit (especially this latest update… my PC is roaring the optimization is not that good), it’s really fun to play in cute outfits in a beautifully crafted world Normally I don’t even like character customisation much because options that I like can be sparse, but I’ve enjoyed a lot of cute wearables!

(Actually, on customizable avatars, I normally like to look “strange” and choose options that don’t necessarily reflect my regular aesthetic )

I’m constantly blown away by how lovely the world design is because open world is really tricky to do well. There are so many details to look at and endless photo spots, it really feels like the world was designed with intention and heart

It’s still relatively new, but they’ve added lots of little cute details such as riding this carriage with your friend (or at least a mimic of them… lol). It’s so cute

The photo mode is really fun Most of all I just love that there is ZERO feeling of male gaze

A while back, I picked up a few new beauty/skincare items I’ve been using them already, so that’s why the lotion is sque-e-e-e-zed…

• Lanolips 101 Dry Skin Super Cream - I picked this up at TJ Maxx and I’ve really been liking it for my dry eczema hand! It has lanolin so it does smell a bit strange, but it works so well, I hope I’ll find another one at TJ Maxx…

• Flower Knows Violet Strawberry Rococo Glowy Lip Gloss G04 Blackberry Jam - Super pretty deeper (yet still bright) pinkish shade that I don’t already have. I used up one of my tints so I was able to pick up a new lip product I’m really excited to use this shade a lot during summer particularly, but I think it would be cute all year!

• Flower Knows Little Angel Dewy Hydrating Primer - I actually bought this on promo so I can reuse the container after finishing it I don’t typically use primers, because I don’t… care enough about that much details for daily wear to notice a difference about things like primer lol

• Flower Knows Butterfly Cloud Collar Embossed Highlight & Contour Palette - For a long time I wanted to get a new contour palette even though I’ve panned 3 of the romand one that I like a lot It’s super pretty, and I have no complaints about it except it feels a bit too pretty to use - especially since I pan my contours… hehe. But I thought I’d try something new after a few years of the same product Each shade is really beautiful and subtle while applying very well - I think I actually like this more than the romand palette!

• Dgel Healing Potion Nail Strengthener - Honestly, I got this because it’s super pretty and I was curious if it would help with my nails on their off days. I haven’t tried it yet since I’ve had my nails done nonstop for now! Unfortunately it smells like regular nail polish and not a cute scent, so I don’t get super motivated to want to try it

Some additional photos of the primer case & others I don’t really collect “purple” things, but the lip tint was just too pretty of a colour that I didn’t already have, and I suppose the case will match my lavender blushes!

Went to family festivities on Saturday with lots of visits and cheer! I didn’t have anything red for Chinese New Year, so I added this red bow I ended up wearing the boots w/o the fur, but otherwise I felt very cosy and comfortable! I’ve really grown to enjoy wearing these knit dresses because even though they look fitted, I only get them in soft and stretchy materials, so they’re actually super comfy like a big piece of sleepwear!

Sometimes for these big family events I get a bit worried about being splashed by food (fun memories of having red vinegar spilled all over my brother and me when we were young the poor waiter was so mortified), so I like to wear something that’s easy to wash and not too expensive or precious to wear…
