Hello How was your weekend?

It rained a little here, which I love Even though it was just a little bit of rain, it’s really nice, and it made me happy!

A while back, I got this Mars setup for a really good price and I’ve been wanting to wear it out, but it’s been so cold! I decided to just wear it anyway when I got a chance So I don’t feel like I need to treat it too preciously and wear clothes I like more often

Actually, I had a bit of difficulty matching it to the weather after all (lol) - it’s not cold enough to wear a coat and my jackets are all ivory or off-white I wasn’t sure if the blue cardigan would match or if it was too much blue, but I liked it a lot in the end

We finally picked up our ceramics though it was ready a while back! My lopsided one-legged boy came out quite nicely despite his handicap, I love him as he is

My other bowl was quite typical, actually my nails were too long so the instructor had to make it for me I painted some of those gentle birds on it!

Though my pieces don’t look very neat, I had a lot of fun, and I want to make some more ceramics! I wonder if I can do it even with long nails…

I got this sweet potato bread cake from Tokyo Central to try! I stress a lot when buying extra food like snacks or other treats so I wanted to try out something new on an ordinary day to feel like it’s not so difficult to do.

Another outfit from recently featuring a Mars dress I really come to love their cute designs, even though for a long time I was picky about the quality of them.

I don’t think Mars is great quality, but I feel like you still get what you see, a little bit different from receiving low quality items from Ank Rouge who photograph nicely but arrive in quite poor condition

Though I feel like I have to share that Mars clothes are quite short! I don’t get the impression the fit is as petite as other brands like Evelyn, but the length of the items are very short even on my height. Have to wear an extra skirt sometimes Now I understand a tall girl’s problem!

This last one isn’t so much an outfit as one I usually wear for errands, but I recently got these overknee socks from Didi’s recommendation They’re really nice and warm, so I don’t have to feel chilly in this transitional weather

November Tea Party

We had our November Tea Party yesterday, which was themed My Favourite Dress

I chose to wear this scalloped Liz Lisa dress as it’s one of my favourites. It’s a bit more of a spring/summer item, so I tried to autumn/winter-ise it by layering with my Evelyn lace tank top, pairing with a very “winterish” knit cardigan, and my 2nd favourite winter item, long boots (the first being coats of course)

Sarah gifted me this bear bag from Honey Cinnamon last year after we expressed how cute it is and she has the matching brown one I really like how it matches so many items in my wardrobe (this is an important point for me because I get fatigued easily making decisions) and actually fits quite a lot!

I really love this theme, and so many girls showed up with adorable outfits of their favourite items! Mina really picked a wonderful positive theme I was thinking that I picked such a difficult theme last time, but I always have a really hard time choosing a versatile one

It’s always really nice to think about and reflect about what we like in our interests, like our closets; personally I get really ahead of myself collecting sometimes and don’t take enough time to appreciate how much I may like a piece

Actually, tea parties are really out of my comfort zone, I try my best to attend them for this reason Nothing to do with attendees since everyone is very sweet; I’m just very introverted. It makes me really happy to see that everyone is having fun though which I like to focus on!
