February Tea Party

We had our February tea party This time, it was themed Sugary Fruits, a suggestion from Mina due to January being chocolate-themed

We had a small turnout, but very precious nonetheless I love every size of our tea parties, since the dynamics can be different, and you can learn a lot of fun things about each other in bigger and smaller groups

♡ Skirt, Hairclips: Liz Lisa ♡
♡ Bag: Honey Cinnamon ♡
♡ Socks: Roji Roji (Taobao) ♡

I decided to wear Gelato bear, one of my favourite prints as it’s so vibrant and cheerful, even though it’s quite an unusually vivid pink for my closet! To tone it down slightly, I paired it with this evelyn blouse that I fell in love with when it first released, but thankfully I was able to snag it for cheap secondhand a few months after

To keep the outfit sweet, I wore pink-topped OTKs that I’ve been obsessed with recently. I think I have posted them in previous outfits before, but they are from Taobao label Roji Roji which specialises in many kinds of designs - I think they create a few of their own sock designs as well as selling popular ones. I believe this particular style is one of their own designs. It’s very cute and big leg friendly

Lastly, my favourite kind of sock/shoe combo is white + white, so of course I had to go with it here I tend to reuse a lot of “dressing patterns” in my outfits, which works really well for casual wear, but sometimes I wonder if it’s too plain for outfits

Recently, my housemate told me that a comment she received a long time ago from a close friend was that she was an ‘outfit-repeater’ (negative), which we now discussed was such a bummer to hear! If you love an outfit or a style, it should be okay to repeat wearing it, right? That’s what I think, even though it may not be too “exciting” for posting online

January Tea Party

Hello I have not yet posted since the new year, I’m back to share

We had our January tea party today, themed Teddy Bear’s Chocolate Hibernation Party

It was so nice to resume our tea parties in 2024 It’s quite refreshing to enjoy some time together. We talked about how lovely it is that this server has been around for a while as well! I’m so happy the server continues to be healthy and making others feel welcome and happy.

It makes me happy that there’s a little space to feel cute and safe together; I always feel so inspired seeing how others dress that it brings me out to try something new too

♡ Coat: Secret Honey ♡
♡ Hat: Evelyn ♡

The main point of my outfit was Twin Bears sweater, one of my favourites! Happily, Sarah also wore hers, so we were twinning I loved seeing everyone’s outfits and teddy bears!

This outfit was so comfortable and also features a few of my more recent closet additions that I was so excited for. I’m happy seeing that they match my existing closet really well even if I don’t always match my whites (trying to get over this bugging me more than it should!) Been obsessed with this Secret Honey coat that I got in December since it’s just slightly less overheating than the Liz Lisa one, so I can wear it indoors and outdoors.

I brought apples (with a little cinnamon) and cucumbers to snack on, a matcha latte, and of course, chocolates! My cousin gave me these Läderach chocolates for the holidays that are so, so delicious I ended up breaking up a different “chocolate bar” form of these instead of these “truffle” form because I didn’t want to bite into it on camera (lol).

After the tea party, for lunch, I made a poke bowl I really love cucumbers lately, since they’re very crispy and easy to cut for preparation. I’ve been trying to look for easy preparation recipes that have a variety of ingredients, since I tend to eat the same things daily. I don’t mind it but I think it will be healthier to try different things
