Monday

It has been quite a long time since I last posted (2021) and many things changed since then, but also many things remained similar! Normally I purge my blogs from time to time, but I thought that I’d rather move on and be okay with those entries hanging around. I’ve been trying to be more open so this blog is important to me in that way.

Recently, since it’s been so cold that it’s difficult for me to stay awake to cook, I’ve been making avocado toast with pan-toasted japanese mayonnaise + miso mix. It’s sooo delicious (it’s not plant-based so I try not to over-indulge) but my guy told me it’s like college people food LOL but if it works…

I usually put furikake on it as well. This one has bonito flakes but I picked a brand that’s different than my usual and it’s kind of salty (especially saltier with the miso).

San-X released this new fuzzy Rilakkuma pencil case and I had to have it My fountain pens have been homeless on my desk so finally, they can stay within his belly!

In the evenings, instead of reading my phone or eating by my desk (where I also play and work, so I spend so much time there) I’ve been trying to stay downstairs if it’s not too cold or near the window in my room to work on my artist of life workbook pages. I’m still trying to finish my copy from 2019, which is a bit bittersweet to think about, but I think it’s better to pick up where we can if it’s still valuable. The best day to start really is today

Saturday

Hello, happy May!

A new shirokuma has been added to my desk! I got this from peachmatsuri on Etsy, who makes super cute tiny clay charms. I might use it as an actual charm later, but for now I’m loving that he’s just sitting!

Picked up a cute little bouquet from Ikea… it’s a fake bouquet but looks very cute and bright, since I can’t seem to keep any plant alive in my room I thought I’d brighten it with some fake ones. I don’t yet have a vase for it but for now I put it in my coat pocket! (not pictured)

Hope you have a wonderful May
