March Tea Party

In March, we had our lovely A Little Bit of Luck Party, hosted by dear Didi I really loved this theme, as she asked what kind of outfit or piece makes you feel lucky to wear or own. I love to think about these, so I put together my outfit based on this

I loved our little turnout once again

♡ Socks: Roji Roji (Taobao) ♡

I realised, don’t I wear the twin bears knit quite a lot? I think it’s one of my favourites, for sure. It makes me feel very cosy and comfortable, which I feel like is a bit hard to find since I don’t like the touch of fabric sometimes. I paired it with the skirt from Many Hearts setup, which I felt lucky to own since this setup originally sold out quite fast but thankfully, reran as a short sleeves version and so I was able to snag this!

The outfit made me feel very happy

After our tea party, I hung out with my guy and we ended up eating at Shinsengumi for a date night. Funny, but I don’t think the food was very good? I always thought Shinsengumi was at least okay, but my guy reminded me that last time, I didn’t like my veggie ramen either (LOL)…

I ordered the “soy milk dandan udon” which was on their veggie menu, but I’ve never had anything that tasted like this before… to be honest, it was quite difficult to eat.

February Tea Party

We had our February tea party This time, it was themed Sugary Fruits, a suggestion from Mina due to January being chocolate-themed

We had a small turnout, but very precious nonetheless I love every size of our tea parties, since the dynamics can be different, and you can learn a lot of fun things about each other in bigger and smaller groups

I decided to wear Gelato bear, one of my favourite prints as it’s so vibrant and cheerful, even though it’s quite an unusually vivid pink for my closet! To tone it down slightly, I paired it with this evelyn blouse that I fell in love with when it first released, but thankfully I was able to snag it for cheap secondhand a few months after

To keep the outfit sweet, I wore pink-topped OTKs that I’ve been obsessed with recently. I think I have posted them in previous outfits before, but they are from Taobao label Roji Roji which specialises in many kinds of designs - I think they create a few of their own sock designs as well as selling popular ones. I believe this particular style is one of their own designs. It’s very cute and big leg friendly

Lastly, my favourite kind of sock/shoe combo is white + white, so of course I had to go with it here I tend to reuse a lot of “dressing patterns” in my outfits, which works really well for casual wear, but sometimes I wonder if it’s too plain for outfits

Recently, my housemate told me that a comment she received a long time ago from a close friend was that she was an ‘outfit-repeater’ (negative), which we now discussed was such a bummer to hear! If you love an outfit or a style, it should be okay to repeat wearing it, right? That’s what I think, even though it may not be too “exciting” for posting online
