Hello

We went out today with K and A I got sick since Thursday, so I was worried I would be too under the weather to go, but I’m really happy I went!

Unfortunately I realised I didn’t take a picture of our main event and reason of going (aside from seeing great friends ), the East Fork seconds sale in San Diego! My manz picked up his first ever artisan kitchen piece - not too bachelor looking…

Though we waited a little bit for the line, it wasn’t too bad, and ended up super fun to look around! So many people went! I overheard that someone even drove down from San Francisco for this sale Doesn’t it seem nice to like something a lot?

One of the fun things was also seeing what our buddies bought I think shopping is more fun when you get to share a fun experience with good company who also enjoys this interest

I’ll share you a photo of what we got when I’m not tucked into bed

Earlier in the week, I redid my nails since we’re celebrating Valentine’s festivities early (skipping the long waits). I tried this lace-ish design to keep it simple

I’ve been really lazy doing designs lately, which is okay I guess - simple doesn’t mean bad - but since I haven’t been feeling up to anything, I thought trying to make something prettier would be a much-needed extra touch of self-care

Finally, I’m trying out the popular Jello Jello One Kill Remover gel base - hopefully this will help me with easier removal since I can’t really do acetone soak (due to my eczema burn) We’ll see how it works for me!

♡ Top, Skirt: MA*RS ♡
♡ Jacket: Honey Cinnamon ♡
♡ Shoes: GRL (modified) ♡
♡ Headband: Pium ♡

I thought MA*RS would be a cute and simple outfit today The only issue is that the skirt seems designed for wearing with the attached suspenders, so it fits a ton looser than their other skirts! I’m hoping to sew a fix for it since I really like the design and easy-wear

Anyway, this is probably just one of those outfit patterns I like to wear a lot - sweater/knit top, skirt, boots Comfy and simple… nappable outfit.

After East Fork, we joined K and A for lunch at Hatsuzakura - a cute little kissaten (coffeeshop/tearoom/cafe) Oh my gosh, it’s so cute, I don’t know how I forgot to take a photo of the interior. But I guess that means we need to go back again to take a photo

Definitely a lovely place to go to for a relaxing time with friends & good food and sweet drinks! You know, I find it quite rare to have all those together at a place that feels like a cafe…

We ordered lots of yummies! For me, I really wanted a drink (hehe even though I had a mexican mocha latte earlier while in line for East Fork sale… lol) so I chose their earl grey milk tea It’s quite sweet and has a very strong lavender flavour - a bit too much for my manz, but I absolutely loved it (I do love a drink that tastes like perfume though)

I also got this curry that they were able to accomodate a vegetarian version for I think it’s the best vegetarian curry I’ve had - extremely flavourful without being salty, and just a touch of sweetness & spiciness… Even the pickly red boys were good, and I am not normally a pickle-type enjoyer…

We also shared this big strawberry shaved ice It was so cute and round! I liked it a lot since it was not too sweet, but I didn’t eat too much of it because I was a bit too full lol. It definitely was enjoyed by our table, though!

I hope you, too, had a wonderful day
