Hello Happy Tuesday! It feels like a long week already… I prepared this post recently, but didn’t get a chance to finish it up until now. I feel like my delight of doing anything has really been drained, but it means it’s even more important to focus on taking care of ourselves.

Hoodie days… Does this count for a shareable outfit? Anyway, I’ve enjoyed wearing it, several times even so I guess so

Lately, I’ve been putting on hoodie outfits as the weather sometimes gets a little warmer in the afternoon, but not yet californian heat. I’ve said it before but I really, really love Evelyn’s normal knit pieces - they’re super soft and don’t break the bank (especially if you snag them secondhand) - even softer than my Honey Cinnamon hoodies. It’s great for going from errands to napping

(I think my softest HC hoodie was the one I purchased in 2019 or so… but the ones in the recent years haven’t been as soft - just average jersey, though they’re still cute and comfy enough )

The DML shoes are the same as the ones I have in white - this time, I bought my true size 23.5, but I think the 24.0 fit better, probably due to the hard enamel These are just okay in terms of comfort while the white pair that I have in 24.0 are a lot more comfortable for long walking.

I made matcha almond cookies

There were a few modifications I made

Normally I would replace the butter as well but jume has a surplus of butter from her business, so I used regular butter!

Due to the modifications, I should’ve added more flour to offset the extra liquid. Since I didn’t, my first batch of cookies came out like the following boy, or worse…

A goner...

But, my last batches came out pretty shapely like the first photos! I think Penguin? and Tonkatsu came out the best, but Neko struggled a lot with his tiny whiskers. The cookie cutter got dough caught between his whiskers early on and I had to keep picking it out to form nice whiskers.

The taste was very good! Obviously best fresh out of the oven, but now the next day, they’re crispish on the outside while chewy and soft on the inside. I’ve never used almond flour for cookies before, so I see how they make them soft They are not too sweet as well, although I might try reducing the sugar somewhat as they are a little bit sweet to me.

Using these small cookie cutters, the recipe ends up making about 44 cookies, so now I’ve a surplus of sumikkos!!!

I haven’t baked for fun in a long time, so this was really fun

While I’ve been here at jume’s place, I’ve been borrowing ant’s huge mug tree mugs for huge drinks… but I finally found a cute big (not quite huge, but big enough) mug for filling lattes

Isn’t this catto cute? The plus for this cup is also that it’s not as heavy as the mug tree mugs too, so overall it’s very pleasant to use

While cleaning out my photos, I found this outfit from a while back (rip shirokuma rug) that I forgot to share! Anyway, I finally got one of the super fluffy tops, but omg it is pretty oversized on me - I’m not really sure how I feel about it Although, to be fair, it’s oversized on the model too, so I should’ve known… I’m not sure yet if I want to keep it or not, but it goes pretty easily with my dwindling muted pink pieces.

Picked up this little shimaenaga blanket at Daiso the other day while on a trip to get packing tape It’s impossible to go in and not pick up other things… Anyway, I’m happy that sold so many items on my depop recently that I actually needed to get more tape! The blanket is a treat for such hard work decluttering, right

Since this blanket is smaller than the gelato pique one, I can use it while sitting without draping onto the floor

Finally, I got a case for the earphones that my manz got me. I love things that hug
